Agnes Top #1

Finally I made an Agnes Top by Tilly and the Buttons. The fit of size 3 is perfect for me and I plan  for making more of these wardrobe staple. I'm especially fond of the deep neckline - it's totaly my style.

Only modification: I placed the seam of the neckband at the rear back instead at the shoulder seam.

Madeleine Skirt #2

My favorite skirt to wear this year in January and February had been my new Madeleine Skirt made in Harris Tweed. I absolutely love this skirt... It fits me very well and is comfortable and  warm.

The Harris Tweed is such a beautiful fabric and the colors are amazing. Although it's quite a heavy weight fabric it was easy to work with. I only used the basic pattern pieces without extras, as I like the shape of this skirt a lot.

Modifications:
I fully lined the skirt with a viscose lining fabric.
Made a rolled hem with my serger at the lining.
Used green linen for the inner waistband.
Inserted an invisible zipper.
Omitted the pockets. No suspenders. No topstitching.

Dreyma Sweater

The last couple of weeks I did wear often this sweater: Dreyma by Jennifer Steingass. As I liked the color combination and wanted to knit with Istex Lettlopi for quite a while, I went with the given yarn and colors.

The only modifications I made had been at the collar:
Provisional cast on 108 stitches. Knit 2 rounds in black. Knit round 2 of chart in black heather. Started yoke pattern + colors on round 4 of chart.
For the rolled collar I picked up 108 sts and turned sweater inside out. Knitted 4 rows on WS. Bound off. Now the rolled collar doesn't roll to the outside, but neatly to the inside. Used Drops Karisma color 53 anthrazit for this to avoid too much scratchiness around the neck.
